Description
Katniss and Peeta framed by the poison berries. Originally there was a mockingjay behind Peeta's shoulder, but it didn't look right so I took it out.Due to some complaints of inaccuracies I made an alternate version of this piece. [link]

I'm sure some will think I'm speaking absolute heresy here, but... With regard to the complaints about this version from mockingjay.net, well, there's no reason Katniss couldn't look Asian or have Asian blood somewhere in her ancestry. It's been a while since I've taken genetics, but I'm pretty sure that having a blonde, blue-eyed sister doesn't invalidate that possibility. Her race is never stated, only that she has olive skin and dark hair. "Olive" doesn't necessarily mean dark, even; you can be light-skinned and still olive in your undertones, though it's true Katniss is generally assumed to have somewhat tanned skin. Still, olive skintones are certainly common enough in Asian peoples.
Anyway, that possibility aside, I think it's a serious case of missing the forest for the trees -- you've made a great piece, and changing a few colors a smidge here or there doesn't change that. It's lovely! I'm glad you put it up.

Shouldn't it be Katniss who's tanned? Peeta spends all his time indoors; also Seam kids have more olive skin, whereas people from the richer part of 12 (like Peeta) are fairer.

Probably by far my favourite capture of Katniss that i have sen so far. She looks feminine yet still strong (apart from the slightly emaciated situation given the starvation) and she looks pretty
