Rushing is bad, very bad. I really wasn't happy with the attitude I was stuck in while working on the dwarves so I really took my time with this little gnome - and in taking my time I ended up getting it done super quick because I was having fun.

I wanted to get away from the "chibi"-style gnomes with tiny bodies and giant heads, but I still need them to look different from a human. It was agreed they'd follow larger proportions, but their attitude for tinkering is all gnome. So hopefully that is achieved with her large ears, eyes, and tiny nose, and smaller proportions.

I still wanted her to be "cute", and I worked her appearance so that she's true to her races only class option in Cyra - an Artificer. They build mech-style body suits for combat (go super-mech gnomes!)

I was very inspired by and her lovely steampunk shots.

A steampunk gnome mechanic, precursor to the true gremlin.  Not those stupid goblinoids in those two stupid movies.

I tried to detail the bridge of her nose a bit more, and around the eyes, but it kinda looked silly... it made her face look a bit more human I guess? I wanted to stay away from her eyes looking "animeish" but making them realistic didn't work so well either lol.

Thank you! I did have fun with her costume/clothing, that's for sure.
