nepeta x equius, i ship them a lot. i think they'd be a really cute couple.this is the end to one of my ideas that i may write. at the end equius crushes nepeta's spine because he tried to hug her.

This will never stop being the saddest Homestuck artwork Iβve ever seen...I never realized it before, but when you look into HS, youβll realize that it is a melancholic story, full of sinister and heart wrenching plot lines, hidden by a facade of comedy. This picture will surely live on.

its a good thing you didnt use the circle tool. better than anything i could have come up with in ms paint while using the pencil/brush tool.
i remember the old days when i thought i could make art on ms paint with the pencil tool. i remember when i thought i could actually DRAW. im not really sure what my art is now, but all i know is that it will be considered atrocious later on.

I am a mean person, but never as mean as some of you. The behavior that some of you people are showing is absolutely unacceptable and it makes me so disappointed in current society. Have some of you decided that completely insulting this drawing will help the artist become better! And yes, they are moirails, it's a ship.

Guys, guys, calm down.
I agree that you shouldn't be making fun of this kid. That's not only a mean thing to do, but, in a way, cutting off his space to grow. Telling somebody that their art is terrible often times just makes them avoid drawing in the first place, therefore preventing them from getting better.
But, on the other hand, there is some sense in NOT SUGARCOATING THINGS. Do you know why?
Because saying "good job" on a sloppy one is just lying. It's bad for you and the person you are critiquing. The artist doesn't know how to improve if all he/she gets is positive comments.
Only criticize if you know how. And when you do, use constructive criticism. Remember that when you are criticizing somebody, that automatically says you are better at drawing than them. Are you really? Provide at least one good point along with everything else! Nobody likesΒ a mean person.
As for me, looking at this drawing... It definitely needs a bit of work, anatomically. But otherwise, making art is something you do for fun. Nobody is out there knowing how to draw like an expert immediately. So keep drawing, and remember to have fun with it.
