Clarence is a great show, but when it has a dud, it's BIG. I'm still recovering from watching Straight Illin... *Shakes From Remembering.* I was going to review Straight Illin, but I decided it was a bit much for me to review after only reviewing 3 animated atrocities. I'll get to you one day Straight Illin... I'll get to you... Anywho, then I was going to review Bedside Manners, but then I realized, both episodes have been criticized A LOT! So what if I reviewed the Clarence atrocity that was the least criticized, Honk...

What's the problem with this episode? It's because of the problem that makes most bad Clarence episodes bad. Clarence annoys everyone, Straight Illin is the only bad one that isn't bad for this reason. Anywho, in this episode, Clarence buys a horn. This episode is basically Clarence's version Slide Whistle Stooges. This episode starts with two kids playing trading card games, Clarence bursts through and interrupts their game. He then leaves after that. Then he goes to class and he does an awkward report on his book or something... Anywho at recess, Jeff explains to Clarence that he's been pretty annoying, and that his sense of humor is crap. Anywho, Clarence tries to find a way to become a better conversationalist. Then, while he's watching TV, he sees a guy honking horns. Clarence then tries this.... uh...

Anywho then Clarence goes and buys a horn, he goes to school to next day. This is when the episode gets BAD. During the Pledge of Allegiance, Clarence honks his horn, the class giggles at this.. but Ms. Baker seems annoyed by this. FUNNY! So then whole the announcer is talking, Clarence honks his horn. FUNNY! So then we cut to a montage of Clarence honking his horn, and the kids are VERY annoyed by this. Oh and by the way, this is the joke of the episode. CLARENCE HONKS HIS HORN! LOLZ SO FUNNY OMG XDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXD! By the way Clarence writers, SHOVING A HORN SOUND EFFECT IN OUR FACE 500000000 TIMES WON'T MAKE IT FUNNY! IT'S JUST ANNOYING! Jeez... So anywho Jeff tells Clarence that people will laugh at it now, but eventually get tired of it. Just like the audience your torturing!

Anywho, then that night, Clarence honks it all night. And he keep's Mary up all night with it. Uh, Mary, I think you forgot your line, "Clarence, if you honk that horn one more time, your grounded!" Like seriously, if I was her in that situation, I'd go into Clarence's room, grab that obnoxious horn, AND THROW IT IN THE TRASH! Anywho the kids are all annoyed by Clarence honking, so they decide to meet Clarence up in a circle. This doesn't work and Clarence just goes away with his horn. WHAT WAS THE POINT OF DAT THEN! The filler was strong with that scene. Anywho we get to ANOTHER filler scene. Clarence tries to, flush his horn.. uh.. and he regrets it, and then we get a joke of Chad overreacting about his horn and trying to get it out of the toilet, okay that was the only funny joke in this episode.

And then we get to the ending that burns this episode with fire. The ending that makes this episode an atrocity. *Gulp* So Clarence goes to school next day and then his peers try to get him back, they ALL got horns, honking them. YAY CLARENCE GETS HIS COME UP-INS! Wait is he honking his horn back! He's not annoyed by this?! *Breaks a window* Clarence writers! This is not how it should work, he should go insane, or be annoyed by this! And if you're worried about Clarence being a hypocrite, hypocrisy works if it's against them! And then we get a happy little horn musical! YAAAAY- oh wait that's crap writing, BOOOOOO! Great they take his horn, END EPISODE! On wait we have a rancid moral?

Jeff: That being true to yourself and not letting others force you what to do, is the only way to forge true friendships.

And when you have a slice of life show, your morals have to be taken EXTRA seriously. And then the episode ends on Clarence now instead doing a slide whistle instead of a horn. OH NO IT IS SLIDE WHISTLE STOOGES CLARENCE VERSION!
