If I'm not mistaken you have some Norwegian ancestors. I began learning Norwegian about a year ago, it's a great language with lovely melody.

Well, I teach a lot of classes, and the students want to try a little of everything. I did this as a classroom example in coloured pencil. It was pretty fun, considering I didn't have any experience with the medium before. ^_^

Yeah, it's fun to try out new things. I just got my first order for a pair of human portraits rather than dogs, and I'm all eager to get started. I've never painted humans before. Still using acrylics, though. Water colour is scary! I really don't know how you do it.

Thanks! I was pleasantly surprised by the pencils, although they took a lot more time than watercolour. They were easier to use than expected - but I think next time I'll use drawing paper instead of watercolour paper.
