Description
Sukhoi Su-35S-2, bort no: 02 RED (NATO reporting name: Flanker-E) of the Russian Air Force (VVS). Sukhoi test pilot Sergey Bogdan took the aircraft aloft for its first flight on 2 December 2011. Aircraft was painted in dark grey scheme camouflage in January 2012, with logo of the 929th order of Lenin Red Banner State Flight-Test Center of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, named after V.P. Chkalov in Akhtubinsk (Astrakhan Oblast). Delivered to VVS on December 2013 (along with aircraft: 01, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11 and 12), handover ceremony taken place on 12 February 2014.
