Jackpot x Night Light
Night Light and Jackpot met in Las Pegasus where Jackpot was doing one of his Equestria-wide famous shows. Actually, they met at the bar of the hotel both of them were staying at. Jackpot was set up in a Royal Suite thanks to his contract with the hotel. Night Light was in Las Pegasus for a book convention where he was doing signings for his latest best seller. They both got very drunk and ended up in Jackpot's royal suite. They had to re-introduce themselves in the morning, and Night Light was mortified while Jackpot was highly amused. Their sober, though hungover, conversation was lazy and comfortable, and despite the night's event, they seemed to hit it off. First it was a simple casual thing. Whenever Jackpot came to Canterlot, he was sure to visit Night Light's manor where the stallion lived alone. Jackpot always seemed to bring some light into the dim, dusty home. Night Light was attracted to his charisma and what was once casual became extremely exclusive. Jackpot gave up his tail chasing life for Night Light, and honestly has never regretted it. Night Light is open to the idea of their marriage being open, always worrying about locking Jackpot in, but Jackpot has never taken advantage of his nervous husband's offer. Never offended, but never interested. Jackpot and Night Light absolutely adore their children. They're very proud of Shining Armor, and they spoil Trixie absolutely rotten. Especially Jackpot, who takes her absolutely everywhere with him. She's seen more of the world than most young ponies ever have.

Twilight Velvet x Blue Moon
Twilight Velvet was once a highly sought after young mare. She was beautiful, wealthy, and sociable. She was courted often and never settled down until finally, finally, she met the stallion of her dreams. Blue Moon offered her the world. He bought her everything, spoiled her rotten, and treated her like a precious pet. And Velvet thrived in it. Soon she was engaged to the man of her dreams that made her swoon. However, before their wedding, Velvet found herself pregnant. She was quick to tell Blue Moon, all sorts of happy. Sure, they were not married quite yet, however they were to be wed. Blue Moon's reaction wasn't perfect, he wasn't ecstatic about her pregnancy, but it wasn't a completely negative reaction neither. At nine months, Blue Moon broke off the engagement and admitting to cheating on Velvet for well over a year. He was leaving her for a new mare, someone who appreciated him more and didn't live off him like a parasite. So he left her, heavily pregnant and single. Thus, two months later, Velvet gave birth to a tiny bastard's child. This child, her daughter, was a reminder of the stallion who decided she wasn't enough. And with Velvet having a child out of wedlock and growing in age after being off the high society scene, it was nearly impossible for her to get back into the flow. And she took this out on her daughter. She kept her locked up and uneducated, using her as a personal servant until Twilight Sparkle was old enough to be married off to a rich family in a desperate attempt to regain some notoriety. She was thrilled when Shining Armor, the Captain of the Royal Guard, took interest in her daughter. Velvet has no interest in Cosmic Wave or Ponyville and has expressed extreme distaste with Twilight's decision to move away from Canterlot.

Tempest Shadow x Trixie Lulamoon
Tempest Shadow joined the Royal Guard at a young age(younger than allowed, however she easily lied to get in) and rose quickly in the ranks. She excelled away from her meager, shitty little hometown and thrived in the big city. It was in the Royal Guard that she met Shining Armor, a stallion who was always a rank above her and rose just as quickly through the ranks. They became fast friends, and that was how Tempest met Shining's sister, Trixie. Tempest took a very keen interest in Shining's spoiled, arrogant sister. Most of their relationship is snark and sass and a good bit of antagonism, but Tempest enjoys it. Trixie would prefer to act like they were nothing but acquittances even though a couple of their romantic trysts resulted in children. Sweet Floss and Ocean Perfume are adored by Tempest, and tolerated by Trixie. They're mostly raised by nannies and their grandfathers, as Tempest is very busy as the new Captain of the Royal Guard, and Trixie is too busy with whatever trivial interest she has currently.

Shining Armor x Twilight Sparkle
Shining and Twilight met at Shining's birthday/welcome home party. It was a black tie event, so of course, Twilight's mother had been invited. It was there that Velvet tried to pawn her daughter off on a rich suitor. Shining took an interest in the tiny, shy, obedient Twilight and accepted Velvet's offer. He properly courted Twilight who was easily smitten with the generous Captain. Eventually Shining retired from the Royal Guard and the two moved to Ponyville, following Twilight's very first teaching job offer. It was there that they had Cosmic Wave, their one and only child.

Re-Verse: Twilight x Shining Armor

Family Facts:
- Twilight is unable to cut contact with Velvet. She doesn't have the courage to do so, and even if she tried, Velvet would just ignore her daughter's request.
- Cosmic Wave is Intersex Agender(he/she/they), Sweet Floss and Ocean Perfume are Female
- Jackpot and Night Light adore all 3 of their grandbabies and regularly make Ponyville trips to visit Twilight and Shining.
- Twilight was terrified when she first met Jackpot and Night Light. She'd never had a father figure or male role model in her life and suddenly she was signing herself up for one husband and two father in laws. Thankfully, it was exactly what she needed. She's never been happier, and they keep her safe.
- Cosmic Wave was almost a loss, one of many. They are Twilight and Shining's only child, and unless they have an extreme miracle baby, Cosmic will be their only child ever. Which is why they're both doting and strict. They have one shot and want to do it right...
- Cosmic Wave also got Jackpot's talent for Illusion Magic. Their magic is stronger than Trixie's(which makes her jealous) but they don't seem to use it often.
- Yes, Trixie 100% ignores her children. She doesn't have time for them, she's too busy travelling and trying to make her magic and name known.
- Night Light is a best selling author, Jackpot is a well known magician, Velvet is unemployed and living off the Mother-in-Law trust that Shining set up(mostly to keep her quiet and out of their lives).
- Twilight likely has siblings thanks to Blue Moon. She's never met her father and he's never reached out.
- Jackpot absolutely has other children, but he pays them off or just... denies it. He's good to the family he wanted, not so much to the ones he didn't.
- Cosmic doesn't like their cousins. Ocean is spoiled(and bitchy, thanks to Trixie's lack of interest) and Sweet Floss doesn't understand Cosmic's interests
- Debating making Cosmic autistic. They feel that way to me, but I need to do more research and talk to my friends who are autistic before I try to write it. I want to write it right. (If you're willing to lend your help on this subject, I would be INCREDIBLY grateful)
