For Droopy, Don Messick did a great impersonation of Bill Thompson (who also did voices in Disney projects, likeΒ the White Rabbit fromΒ Alice in Wonderland and Mr. Smee from Peter Pan).

60s cartoons aren't my kind of thing, except Scooby Doo, what I like is the animation errors they made. Basically all cartoons from the 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s all had animation error which I don't like to see.

oh, okay. thanks
i just checked. i got my data from behind the voice actors.com
it says some guy named paul frees originally voice squiddily diddily. but i guess it kinda counts.
and a while back i did a 'daws buttler tribute', i think both butler and messick did dixie at times. they are both voice acting legends

Yes, Paul Frees could be heard just about EVERYWHERE at one time. Disney, MGM, Hanna-Barbera, Jay Ward, DePatie-Freleng, etc.

Dear raggyrabbit94, speaking of Paul Frees voices, I really hated that jerk face Meisterburger (from Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town) and his fascist rules about "NO TOYS ALLOWED". I've once read on Wikipedia that that wicked Burgermeister character was based on both Adolf Hitler and Wilhelm II (The Kaiser). Try to compare him with the dreaded Baron Bomburst from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Nice tribute, and thanks for including Multi Man. The Impossibles get so little credit these days. But you do know that Don Messick only did Squiddly Diddly in "Yogi's Gang," right? But hey, it still counts.
