Description This was done as a request for Cassandra Cain aka Batgirl as a Jedi versus her evil Sith twin. (She doesn't really have a twin, but now that she's evil, it's almost like she does)

Anyways, for some reason, a lot of work went into this. I guess it was because it started looking pretty cool to me. I even did up a background to make the fight seem a little more closed off. If I did it again, the bridge overhead would have been higher up. If you look closely you can see small ways I made their outfits resemble the ones they wore in the comics. I even threw on the bat insignia on Cass' chest protector is you look very closely. Honestly, how can you tell the difference between a Jedi and a Sith other than the evil glowing eyes? Hmm... maybe I should apologize to Star Wars fans right now for my lack of knowledge...

Your background is what won me over... the concept is strange (though I'm a fan of Batgirl AND star wars, so I'll get over it )
but man, there's some REAL depth in this image. Oh, and yeah I like your jedi/sith redesigns. very nice work

Why must she be evil? ;____;

Because DC doesn't care for strong female characters. Well, that's my theory anyways. It could just be that they hate Asians...

Wow! That's really quite awesome. Especially with all the background detail and the catwalk-level viewpoint. And the implied motion of the fight scene is quite good as well. Cool stuff like this make me wish I could draw.

As for telling Sith from Jedi... Sith have a tendency towards red lightsabers, black clothes and creepy-evil skin conditions or tattoos. Other than that, really not much difference. The glowing eyes on Evil!Cass definitely make it clear which is which.

Yeah, colours would help. Too bad this was in black and white! Hah!

I think the black and white is kind of awesome, actually.

Whoa... So much detail! That perspective is dead on. Great composition and the poses are good as well!

Actually, I've got two vanishing points, so the perspective isn't exactly dead on. Don't tell anybody...

Woah, pretty mental, you've definatly got talent, although a inked/coloured version would be great.

WOW Rae. That is most impressive. If it didn't involve so much work, I'd color that in a flash. Maybe another day. x_x
