Well, I saw the movie "Pokemon: Lucario and the mystery of Mew" for the first time today.

Quite epic, really. One of their best. I actually felt sad at some parts, and Lucario is quite possibly one of my favorites since I found out about him through Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

I have to say, when I heard his voice (English dub, he's voiced by Sean Schemmel. Sonic fans may know him as the voice of both Black Doom from Shadow's game and Black Narcissus from Sonic X.), I thought that that is the closest to Dark's as I can think of! In a way, he reminds me of how I'm starting to portray Dark in the more recent fics ^^

Anyway, Poor Lucario in the movie believes his friend (Whom he called Master) had betrayed and abandoned him, trapping him in a staff for centuries. When he was freed, he was shocked to find himself in the modern world, finding the castle that he resided in was now much like a museum. It didn't take long for him to have a near meltdown.

Pikachu, and Meowth had disappeared with a Mew that was playing with the Pokemon, so Ash is determined to find Pikachu.

Lucario agrees to help Ash and his friends find him, but highly doubts that Ash is as true to Pikachu as Ash tells him. Now, remember, Lucario thinks that his master abandoned him, so he's a bit hurt.

I won't tell you more if you haven't seen it yet, so I'll stop here.

Anyway, I wanted to make something of Lucario, so I through together another pixelart project.

I borrowed the pose from a screengrab of the movie, so Nintendo, Pokemon and whoever else made the movie own the pose and of course the character.
