I found out about that Dickens's novel unwillingly when I had been watching that clip by nostalgia. When I was kid I loved Minimax. But it stopped broadcast in 2003 in Poland.

Oh I remember enjoying it too, I think it ended at roughly the same time here...

You know. Minimax was spannish, (now probably in hungarian hands), but it was cool "Cartoon Network replacer" for Central European countries in 90'. I had also german SuperRTL and KIKA. Moreover Minimax was merged with Hyper which was channel for gamers. After 20:00 Minimax ends and Hyper started. There were always fresh news and revievs about new computer games. 
We had also RTL7, also cool channel where classic polish and american cartoons and shows were broadcasted. But so much time later I found out that when in a day RTL7 showed shows from children, but after 22:00 RTL7 started showing a natural-entertainment programms for adults.
