Description
As she sits there, her fingers find the exposed skin of her arm and her nails scratch the light skin of her wrist. Sad, cloudy blue eyes fleet occasionally, watching everything and nothing all at once. With her not-perfect posture and her legs haphazardly lying on top of one another, she gives off a careless air that is permeated by an almost nervousness in her being. Her slightly chipped tooth bites her rounded lip, and she slips her phone out to quickly check the time. Crossing and uncrossing her legs keeps her busy and as she waits, she grows impatient, ready to leave. A slight twitch of her fingers on the ground turn into drumming on the concrete, just to keep her hands occupied. Her fingers somehow find her ponytail on her wrist and before she knows it her hair is up. She doesn't like it, lets her dark wavy hair down onto her shoulders. Thoughts of if she should just leave and how long she had been sitting there race across her frontal lobe and in a split second she makes up her mind.
In a fluid motion, nice and quick as she stands, her head high for a girl standing at a mere 5'3". She takes a single swift stride right before she bumps into him. He's tall, menacingly compared to her. A swatch of dark hair that matches the girl's hair color is shaggy and disheveled over his eyes and around his face. There's no hint of recognition on his face for a few seconds. Then, his dark eyes light up and he smiles his devilishly heart-breaking smile.
'Oh hey! You must be the girl I'm working with. God, I'm sorry I totally forgot your name. But anyways, my name's Craig.' Fluidly the sentences leave his lips and before she knows it, the girl is blushing, unsure what to do. A half-smile turns the corners of her lips and her eyes glint with some kind of emotion. Joy, lust, cunning?
'Hi, my name's Lauren.'
