So I've really wanted to draw a pic of Twilight corrupted by King Sombra's dark magic and after reading some more of 's My Little Dashie 2 i really wanted to make a pic of Rainbow Dash under Discord's control....so...i did both
.I also was trying out a few new brushes had passed to me for sai. as you can see i messed with effects and fonts more-so than a background or shading/lighting. I was really worried about not being able to get the King Sombra's effect right,but i'm really happy on its outcome.

if you read the comic his eyes turn green when he casts the spell on RD, if memory serves....been a while since i've read it myself lol

Really great imagery, definitely love the Idea of these two side by side, but if I could make a suggestion, throughout the story while she has those green eyes, (In MLD2) she is a bit grayed out. Besides that this picture gives me chills and it's great to see all our hard work pay off, got on EQD, and already have near perfect fan-art. Thank you

I made this after seeing only the very first panel in which Rainbow's eyes are green, so she still had color and Waltz hadn't posted the rest of the comic by the time i started working on this, and once i start, i don't usually pay DA any attention till i'm done lol. Thx for the complement though, and both of y'all have done a really great job on the comic strip, keep it up.
p.s. i'm also reading the other two comics as well, quite entertaining.
