Soooooooo I’m participating in OCKissWeek over on Tumblr 💋

And because I need direction (especially this time of year) - and I missed the official prompt list (again, this time of year 😑), and I'm studying "Fairycraft: Following the Path of Fairy Witchcraft" by Morgan Daimler at the moment - I decided to use the Seven Qualities mentioned there as a focus instead.

And of course, we’re focusing on my characters from my Faerie work "Tock the Gnome" (so it counts for Faebruary, too) 💕

First, then, we have Tock Corrigan shortly pre-quest, with her mentor Ruggels Sprizzenfritz, older brother of Bumble. “Hospitality” because of the give and take between their two families – Tock basically having been adopted into Ruggels’ and Bumble’s brood, and her own family unit (with just her and her parents) being there as emotional support for the oft-distraught brothers.

It has once again been a challenging winter – especailly since the warmer weather keeps lying to my brain and making me feel even more like I “should be fine! – You don’t have SAD, how silly – etc.” which, of course, makes me forget that I have SAD in the first place, and I keep having to claw myself back to “It’s okay to just be surviving. I promise.” (Which is a lot easier said than done. Yeesh.) So even more than usual, having something fun to break me out of that cycle is very, very welcome and I am very, very grateful. Big thanks to Misi for getting things organized!!
