I felt like revisiting that random mermaid design I came up with at the end of Mermay - I've decided to name her Siobhan, and she's a very nebulous, possibly ancient, demigoddess siren who obtains great knowledge by observing the stars and other wonders from outside the ocean by looking into an obsidian mirror at the bottom of the trench where she lives. Little else is known about her, few go to see her, and fewer still return, as she's guarded by many ancient and powerful oceanic guardians. Siobhan remains neutral in conflicts, but she is the one who anoints any new leader of the mers. I will likely draw her again the next time I feel like drawing a glowey person
