The great Russian novelist, Alexander Solzhenitsyn, passed away August 3rd, 2008.The man exposed to much of the world via his writings the horrors of Stalin's regime and the Gulags.
The Nobel committee even thought so and awarded him a Nobel in 1970.
My tribute to him.
