Description
After the breakfast in the morning I was searching on Google Earth if there is anything interesting in this area that wasn't already overshot and I stumbled on the photograph of this small lake located somewhere in the hills around Passo Rolle. As we went on the afternoon hike when we got higher above the area we could locate this small lake in the distance. We decided to wait for the sunset on the another location but this here was also the place I wanted to visit before the nightfall. Just as the sunset was over we rushed to the car and drove a bit further down the road and went running across the hills in order to find this lake before the alpenglow passes and there it was frozen with beautiful cracks that used as a perfect leading line for this composition.
