This is SOOOO overdue, and is the last of my trades. So now I'm officially done! Woot woot! XDYes, people. I'm still alive. College has swamped me, and I haven't even gotten enough time to write a journal about it. But I feel awful for not getting in any artwork. I promise you guys that's going to change.

This is a really beautifull piece! Seriously. I adore the colours, and the lighting around it. Its such a 'simple' background, but it just works so perfectly, especially with all the detail on the character. And as for the character... wow, you really pulled that off well. The wings, and the details and the HAIR.

OH man, thanks so much! XD I was worried about the bg, because I thought the similarities in color would wash the figure out and I tried to alter it a bit- glad to see it worked out for the best

Another colour would have worked as well, just given it a different effect. But I think that the character is detailed enough and the background simple enough for it to work really well as is without making the character unnoticeable.

oh gosh I can't even begin!!! :'D I love the pose and the colors and her expression and those feathers on the wing! You've got her attitude and proportions just spot-on, it's so charming and aaaaaa just don't mind me I'll just be passing out here for the rest of the day is all!!!!
And oh goodness the swishiness of the hair and the use of line weight and the TOOEES and the pretty lights hold on I just have to stare at this for ages :'D It just has such great personality and motion and awww gosh I love it so much <33
