Description
The bard coven has its Batts, but I didn't want to draw any of them. So, I made someone up. I wanted to challenge myself by drawing a character based on an animal. In this case, I chose an obscure though basic fish: the squirrel fish with its orange and white striped body. It's a smaller fish. Figuring out a demihuman look was a challenging part. Where do I put the fins or shape his eyes were both questions that stump for me a while.

Then, I chose an instrument. A hand drum was a percussion instrument that I chose because I didn't see any drummers from the Owl House. Their outfit is a scramble of old era clothes made for musicians. I forgot which era I referenced. I want to say 1700s.

Nyle Squirrelfish is hand drum player who mainly performs during the Boiling Isles more aquatic related festivals. He loves complementing his fellow musicians whenever they play marching tunes and old bardic melodies.
