This is a key item in Nemius's story that I've made plans to write. It's a cursed artifact that he stole from a witch. A terrible power in this jar can only be used once the black text and a name are spoken. Once the power is awoken, hands reach out to trap the soul of the one whose name is chosen to endure unspeakable agony.

Not many know how to speak the text. A few witches, one crime boss, an underling, and Nemius himself know how to utilize it.
