Oh, what a pretty name! One of the twins has a daughter named Lotte too, and she has a brother named Niek. The twins are my sister's children, but my twin sister died young so I raised them by myself.Every. Fucking. Time, she hears my name...
It started getting annoying, but I made a game out of it, some kind of memory.
And the best part is when every time I finish her sentence correctly, she goes: 'Yes, Yes!'
It's like my personal game show!

At The Old People's Home... truth be told this prose can be taken from multiple perspectives, but in principle it is decent and it does make you feel bad for those who live in a retirement home. I think that you've written a good work as is, and I believe that, for what its worth, this poem has been well constructed, for which I commend you. Well done
