Description Another art prompt piece. I learned a lot from this pic. Namely that I need to let go of my Crayola Sky Blue for backgrounds, it just does not burnish up as nice as the prismas. And two, Scarlet Lake smears, a lot. Also, pick the color for freckles a bit more carefully, she looks dirty, which, ironically also fits the theme of "Earth"

The crinkles and folds in her top are wonderful~

Nice, clean line work. I've still never figured out how to get white to work on color. I suspect my cheap pencils as cause...

Good detail work too. Like the pleats in the sleeves.

Thank you for the kind comment, I have found that not only student quality pencils but also quality of paper could be culprit to the white not showing up nicely. Even colored papers come in a variety of qualities.
