Mass produced by the Augean Stables, War Hoppers are an effective form of rapid traversal across the battlefield, leaping over terrain with impressive height and distance.
The armor for the large insect is designed so it can be linked to a carrier (either aircraft or via terrestrial means such as a massive Mockgott) and brought en masse to a location.
Captured Hoppers and criminally owned Hoppers can be identified by a broken loop and poor condition of the armor. These individuals are often older then the Augean stock and prone to making their own decisions. Some even go feral and produce nymphs that consume local crops at a rapid pace.
