JJ assists Applejack & Big Mac in balancing out the farm's budget and planning events (cider tastings, nightmare night events, etc.). With his mother, Jonagold's a sweetheart. Every once in a while, he assists at the schoolhouse, and tutors kids in math.

He and Autumn are something like rivals when it comes to their strength, and constantly try to show each other up. He's a bit of a workaholic like his Auntie Applejack, so sometimes he'll stay up late doing taxes.
