... is always blank. (--Trigun)Finally finished! \(^o^)/ This took forever even though I decided not to shade. Pretty sure if I decided to shade I'd still be working on it orz
I guess there are two reasons why I drew this--to celebrate 15 years of Pokemon, and to celebrate BW's american release tomorrow. Pokemon's been a huge part of my life for fifteen years, and I'm so excited for BW I'm probably not going to be able to sleep tonight.
I bet you'll ask me these questions, so let me answer them right now
Where's Touko? Touko was going to be in it in a separate panel down below, but she refused to come out right so I decided not to include her in the end. Didn't change the meaning of the picture anyway.
Where's Lyra?/Why are there two Dawns and not two Mays?/Who's the other blue-haired chick? These guys represent the heroines from each facet of my ridiculously huge Pokemon headcanon, in which Laura was the original May and Lyra was not a main character and Mitsumi and Hikari are two different people in the same universe. Supposedly they're all passing off the baton to Touko but yeah
Are you gonna draw a real BW release pic? Oh hell yeah
Perspective hates me and I like beige backgrounds .
Also I spam-listened to "Kimi no Uta" by Abingdon Boys School pretty much the whole time I was drawing and coloring this. The lyrics don't fit like at all but the mood of the song was exactly what I was aiming for. TEXT LINKS
Also also they're distanced in the order their games were released, with newest towards the front. Ruby, Firered, Emerald, Diamond, Platinum, SoulSilver.

Yeah, I know. :C I've just been busy with other things. PMP's main part ended and I'm focusing more now on BW. If I ever get around to writing that movie trilogy I'm planning UM I MEAN more PMP-related stuff, you might see it then maybe. I haven't forgotten; it's just hard to think of new stuff for Mitsumi and Zero when other things are calling me. also drawing people from behind is still hard...
