This is a project I have been wanting to work on for quite some time.

Its main focus is around the Apostles' Creed which is from the early church, around 390 A.D. is the first record of its mention. The Catholic church was more invested in it later on and is apparent in it's original form. the phrase "the holy Christian Church" originally read "holy Catholic Church" in the original Latin form of it. It has been modified and adopted by "the church" as a whole because it embodies the full meaning of what Christians believe. It should be the basis of all Christians' faith.

This particular version of it is an adaptation which also uses a small line of the Nicene Creed. The Nicene Creed, is older and most likely the origin of the Apostles' Creed. Though it is much more of a profession of faith in depth to be sure. The Nicene Creed has two main forms, the original from the First Council of Nicaea in 325. The second form was adapted in 381 by the First Council of Constantinople. Both versions still more in detail about the profession of faith than that of the Apostles' Creed. The part adopted into this version of the Apostle's Creed is claiming that "His kingdom will have no end". That line is not in the original Apostle's Creed, nor is it in the original Nicene Creed, it actually came from the 381 version. It seems fitting and is not lost at all with the context of the Creed, it is believed and professed in Christian faith.

Now, for the other part of this project. I have had revelation about some of the precepts created in the Assassin's Creed series. They are very profound and not unlike some of the teachings of the Bible.

Nothing is True; we are to be shepherds of our civilization. Psalm 23 gives us a glimpse of the leadership of a shepherd when David wrote of the comfort and support given by the Lord, even through tough times.

Everything is Permitted; we are the architects of our own actions, we were given free will to make our own decisions. Whether they are good or bad decisions, they are ours to make. Given free will, we are permitted to do anything. However, being permitted to do something doesn't always mean it is the right thing to do. Thus, everything is permitted, not everything is permissible.
