Description
So here is another traditional Loki WIP (work in progress) with all pencils I've used so far. I really had to upload this photo, because otherwise I would probably never finish it and it's always a good motivation to finish it, when I submit it to dA. The face is almost done. Now I have to colour his body and the staff/spear with colored pencil. I also want to add a time-consuming background (I'll list all reference pictures in the description of the finished drawing). That will definitely take some time.
... and as requested: I placed my third Funko Pop bobble-head figure (Frost Giant Loki with helmet GITD) in the picture! That's why I had to take a photo of the drawing from this tilted angle (instead of frontal).
Paper DIN A4 190g/m²; Faber-Castell Polychromos artists' colour pencils, Copic Ciao and Sketch marker; time: too many hours so far...

It reminded me my last dream - on some rehearsal or casting for a film (made in English) we were improvising and there were some props, including Excalibur in a rock. And I accidentally took it off. So I picked it up high in the air and yelled:
"Kneel before me! For I am the king!"
And my friend said (as a part of improvisation): "You are so lucky!"
And I answered: "Yes! I am Loki!"
I was very serious in my dream, but I laughed hard when I woke up 
(I think he's overtaking Van Doom as my favourite villain lately

LOL! It's probably weird, but I never dreamed of Loki or something related to that (not even Thor)... T-T Well, at least I can draw as much Loki as I want...

I never had dreams about me idols until maybe two years ago, so it's still quite shocking to me when it happens
I always had crazy dreams, but not this way
I just realised that I can do it too I can draw whoever I want and admire
But I stopped being afraid even of drawing from my laptop - I don't have a colour printer and our black&white doesn't work well, but it's just another obstacle - one day I would want to draw from references on my laptop or from real life too - why not starting now?
P.S. I saw a guy looking like Loki (and apparently he knew that because he kept making his facial expressions all the time) but with lighter, straight hair. And he didn't look proud at all - hunching is baaad

Die Rüstung mit den Copic Ciao Markern sieht schon mega aus! 
Ich würde selber auch gerne mit den Copic Ciao Markern anfangen. Weiβ aber nicht, welches dieser ganzen Sets da gut dafür wäre...könntest du mir vielleicht einen Tip geben? Was sich da so anbieten würde für den Anfang?

Vielen Dank! Beim Gesicht habe ich mir dieses Mal besonders viel Mühe gegeben. Ganz ist es noch nicht fertig. Ich möchte, dass man am Ende keine einzige Unebenheit erkennen kann bzw. dass alles schön glatt ist ohne Körnung.
Ich habe mir leider kein Set gekauft, sondern immer nur einzelne Farben, die ich gerade benötigt habe. Aber ich würde auf jeden Fall ein kleines Seit mit kalten Grautönen und schwarz (C = cold gray, 100 = black und 0 = blender) empfehlen und evtl. ein Set mir hellen Erdtönen bzw. Hautfarben (meine Lieblingsfarben sind übrigens E50, E51, E53 und E33). Es kommt aber natürlich immer darauf an was man damit zeichnen möchte.
