Is it Out Of The Fire by romanrain?I love that one,and I got a kick out of the fact that she and Barney had gone on a date,lol.Seemed very in-character for both of them,the way it was portrayed,and it was a pairing I hadn't thought of.Even though we know they only went on one date,I thought it was cute.

Okay,so in reference to that fic you linked me to,I ADDed and started exploring the website itself and then followed the links to it's parent organization,the OTW.I am thrilled to have found this organization,I can't even tell you how much.I've been wanting to find some way to engage in academic study of fandoms and have gotten really into the idea lately of ways fandoms can be legitimized to the mainstream.I'm so happy to find these.This is something I've been trying to explore for the past year,at least.Thank you so much for this link!:-D
