Description Alice was on Midnight Special twice. The first time was around '74 and he did an interview sitting on the edge of the stage, just talking to the audience. it was a 'Midnight Special Salute to Alice Cooper.' They showed a few video clipsas well. The whole thing was about 10 minutes.

The second time was the famous one. In 1979 Alice co-hosted the show with old friend Wolfman Jack, although Alice just made noises thanks to a mask over his mouth. He played several songs from the then new 'From The Inside' on a studio stage, with the live band and full stage production. The songs performed were 'From The Inside', 'Serious', 'I'm Eighteen', 'Only Women Bleed', 'Billion Dollar Babies' and 'Inmates (We're All Crazy)'. There was also a weird fantasy skit with Alice in straight jacket was held in a cage while disco dancers bounced around to a electrocnic dance beat. quite what the point of that was no one has ever said.

The show is a real must-see and it's a shame that copies of the full show circulating aren't of the greatest quality 🐢🀠nmp
