My own humble tribute to this marvelous artist, who left us way too soon.Gotta tell a little story about this past week. I was in vacations and was packing my suitcases to come back home. The TV was turned on, on one of those all time news channels and I was barely listening to it... then the host came out and said: "Michael Jackson is dead". That rang so loud and clear, I froze.
I don't think an artist death ever shocked and saddened me the way his did. I spend all my childhood listening to his songs, my cousin and I had movies, videos, LPs and Cds... felt like he was to us something other than a human, that would never go away.
Very sad. He was truly a music genious and I don't think we will ever have someone who will impact the world as he did. Surely a mind ahead of his time. Aside from being such a man, he was also a son, a brother, a father... who will be even more missed.
Rest in Peace, Michael.

I know exactly what you mean Uriel. My two boys (Jonathan and Tre ages 11 and 8) are HUGE Michael fans - even though I am the one who grew up listening to his music. My kids don't cry over just anything but my youngest will cry like a baby every time Heal the World comes on ... he is a HUGE environmentalist in the making - and it just saddens him that so many people missed out on the messages Michael conveyed in his music.

i want to put this on my wall and I didn't really listen to Michael growing up. I was stick with The Beatles. Not like that was bad I just missed this area. I'm off on a tangent... anyway I really like this and if it were a print I'd buy it.

He got struck by a smooth criminal. I hope that his music will surpass the controversy he had to turn to in later years. I'm sure he's moonwalking with the Elvis right now somewhere, not to worry.

my friends and i are doing a thriller at a convention as a tribute to Micheal Jackson. we all were gonna go to his concert to but this happened poor man he was coming back. I'll miss him.
