-This hat, omg this hat. I found it in a thrift store for $2 and it reminds me so much of the flowered swim caps but it's a super light sheer material, and it's so pretty! But it matched the white azaleas so perfecly that it made my heart sing!
Also, she's wearing my Betsey Johnson gummi bear necklace 
At the beginning of Spring, I was full of ideas. The flowers were blooming and things were fresh and new. Sheridan was in town, and since I've shot so many things with her, I was slightly baffled at what to do with her this time around! However, this wonderful designer sent me one dress, and everything snowballed after that. I took an hour or so and just planned out about 8 different outfits out of my vintage closet, complete with accessories and the whole nine yards. It was a blast and I was so glad that Sheridan was the one to model it, because she's so fun to work with! We ended up doing an indoors series and an outdoors series that day, and they ended up being really different, so I ended up splitting them. Anyways, I hope you enjoy them!

I'm definitely one for soft color tones and magnificent flower arrangements, these two elements appeasing my mind when I indulge in the atmosphere. The first thing that caught my eye in this picture was the color transition from top to bottom, which reminds us of the lovely diversity of colors that are present in nature and that makes its beauty. The decision to off-center the subject gives her an interesting relation with her surroundings, as if she melded perfectly with her surroundings as yet another beautiful living being sprouting from the plentiful soil. Her pose and expression alludes to the ethereal and enchanting nature of spending time alone, silent, in harmony with mother nature's perfect creation.
Refreshing take on the pastel/flower aesthetic, something that will never fail to marvel me.
