Oh boy! Art for me! Well...sorta.

This is ~unbeing and I's Murai characters, Rei (the blondie boy) and Kimi, my gal. They were messengers on the forum and traveled together. After revisiting Rei's former Tribe, his family throws a bit of a "party" celebrating his return (and their assumption that he has found a mate, however hard he tries to deny it). Anyway, in this scene, he is asking Kimi to dance. For those who never saw the sketches I did a while ago, the Murai have the ability to "dance" with each other. The rope they are both holding is what they use to "connect" to each other (like a guy putting his hands on the waist of his gal, etc.). I've been spending a couple hours on this the past few days, on and off, and I need to go ahead and call it finished before I kill it. I was going to stop after the characters were colored, but it looked so ugly and plain with just a white background, so I stepped out of my comfort zone and took a chance at putting in a rather pathetic BG. I think I could have done a better job, but...this was good practice. I was going for a sort of water-colorish style, and it kinda worked, but I'm too afraid to try a lot of other techniques atm. I may rework it if I practice more and find some new tricks, so I'll reupload this if I get the chance to revisit it in the future.

Anyway! Done rambling now.
