A gift to Doctor Peters, who saw me both times I got sick with bladder infections or horrible, oozy allergies ad helped me without expecting payment (insurance was being a bitch). Hopefully this faerie can find a place in her clinic.

Not sure why, but I find this amazing, though I'm sure of it it's got something to do with the excellent simple but ever so effective shading, which makes for a perfect composition for this particular piece! I wonder what her reaction was like when she saw this.

Very nice - you say this is a traditional piece, and I can see that from the lines, but I was just wondering - how did you do the colouring? Is it digital or traditional, and if the latter, what did you use? I'm very curious.

As with most of my art, the lines are pencils scanned into the PC. Colors added on Photoshop CS4.
