Homework for LASALLE College of the Arts: After weeks of brainstorming with the voice actors I am finally satisfied with the script. Here is the final storyboard for my animation major ... which will NEVER be finished because trying to animate 10 minutes by hand at 12 fps by one person will take it right out of you.

This is fantastic! The way everything is drawn, the motion you have in each sketch is so fluid! I can see how it may look once it's all complete. Brilliant!

That was simply marvelous!
Only two very minor hitches for me -
- I thought the pan in the fort/cathedral was downward - ceiling to floor - possibly a subtle nod at bringing the heavenly back down to earth.
- It seemed like the voices were not as expressive from the point where Louis slips into the fort to ... about the time James takes his shot at Louis. (Santiago seems to simply state, "This is a house of God." instead of taking the offended stand, "THIS is a house of GOD!" which would also counterpoint Louis's breezy reply. Oh, and I love the 'cutest lambs' line but it seems to sort of come from nowhere. Perhaps Santiago could accuse Louis, "You desecrate His church and defile His flock!" Thus triggering the 'lamb' retort.
I know not everything is set-in-concrete finalized and not every line needs to be passionately shrieked, but those were the only two points that stuck out at me.
Both the storyboard and the animatic were thoroughly wonderful and I laughed hard enough to wake up my husband (drugged with cold medicine on the couch)! Looking forward to the next phase and the finalized production! Keep up the great work, Sak! You're doing a terrific job!

The pan in the Cathedral goes from Louis's P.O.V. and then upwards to zoom in on the glass frescos that will (hopefully) be there in the final version, and to keep the emphasis on the glass I focus on them last.
The audio track in the animatic is also temporary, as Santiago's VA had to keep his voice down (it was 12 midnight and there were people sleeping in his house) and James and Louis's VAs had literally just woken up, so they were giving sleepy 5/6a.m. performances for the sake of laying out the temporary track. When they record the final voices Santiago especially has specific instructions to REALLY get mad, especially since Louis being so openly gay is offensive to the Church by default.

Oh, of course! 
I should have remembered the time-differences between the actors! You even mentioned it on the last youtube recording. Which was hilarious, by the way. That 'Bohemian Rhapsody' by the cast should really be considered as a closing credits tune.
Clearly *everything* is offensive to the church except for themselves in this piece. It just seemed that the "think He cares" line didn't lend itself well as a lead-in for Louis's cheery riposte of being "the cutest lamb".
So many things to keep track of for your project and you're doing a marvelous job of juggling them all!

I spent a whole evening listening to all the podcasts with you and your VAs, apart from the voices being PERFECT (shitSantiagoshitttscary) they were a valuable source of alternate information, the changes are good

Ooooo yay! Again I so love seeing how you divide up the shots to a story board and it's really awesome to see you bring it to life! I really like the detail in the church and seeing your notes on what to add in later. And oh my goodness, that's perfect that you have Santiago worrisomely trying to catch the cross Still, I feel a little sorry for him. Also I like the change from the giant chest at the end in previous storyboards to Louis getting back his gold.
Just from a viewer's and creative writing standpoint, I thought the two panels where Santiago has discovered Louis's entrance and is threatening him seemed to flow better when what he said in them was switched.

Thanks for considering it. I realize the way it is now it blends better when Louis says he loves what [God]'s done with the church decorations though so I'm not sure what to suggest as an alternate.

I actually don't think it's that clunky. The first is a comeback to be a smart-aleck right back to the Louis, before getting on with what he's really about to say. Or maybe it's just me who does that.

It's a solo project and I only have two months left before I graduate. There's no way I'll be able to finish the entire thing by then, but I plan to keep chipping away at HAT for a while yet.

I had a soft spot for the previous version. James and Louis fighting over the gold while carrying it together is sweet, but this is amazing too!

I felt like the ending for the previous version was weak and confusing in terms of what I wanted to say with the animation. I much prefer this one, it's open-ended and works well as a sort of precursor, then, if HAT ever kicks off the ground.

That's true. The older one was totally a fun romp kind of thing between frenemies and a common enemy. But you did say you have a point to make with the story, so yeah, this one definitely makes more sense

This is such a bittersweet moment. I am so excited for this. So far it's completely awesome and I can't wait for the whole thing to be put together! But then I'm kinda sad and I really hope you keep bringing us awesome Louis, James and Santiago art even after it's all finished.

Oh this is gold! I love the establishing shots (yes, the characters too, but as someone who had always difficulties with surroundings that church in particular looks marvelous). The humor was great, too and frankly... I only got nice things to say about this, so I'll cut to a question I've got:
Will you have to come up with some composed-for-this music tracks or is it allowed to use
music from other soundtracks? Just out of curiosity ^^"

I'm hoping to find original soundtracks for this, so that I can submit this animation competitions and the like, if I ever get around to finishing all seven-and-then-some minutes of it. My sister wants to do the official music, but the sketch animation needs to be done first.
