Description
Here is the NSW SRA 48 Class; built by AE Goodwin between 1959 and 1970. The 48 Class is a majority ALCO but with GE electrical equipment. There are 8 48 Classes preserved; but a majority are still in service, either heavily rebuilt by their new owners (and becoming a new class) or scrapped.
