Thought that this would make for an awesome henna belly
One of many mandala-ish creations I drew over the summer - got really into symmetry and lots of detail of course
Odd fact - the centre was drawn from a shapely drinks coaster!:
Drawn by hand with V5 Pilot and 0.7, 0.3 Staedtler pens with use of lightbox
Original size is about 9" square on parchment paper

You're welcome, it's a really lovely design. There's a company called The English Stamp Company who will put pretty much any design you like on a stamp, and I think that would look really good as a 'medallion stamp' that you can use to build up a 3-D Mandala

I love it how it is, it brings more attention to the rest of it.
I don't think it would be too much if you put some designs in the center, though. Maybe something more loose, and less complicated than the outside? I don't know.
