I'm late again...This was supposed to be my entry to birthday contest... but I didn't make it in time.
All because of my internet connection dying on me for 3 days!!! Gaaaah!Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHADY !!!!
The one sexy angel above is the Dark Angel, one of two twin angels created to keep balance in the reality. He is the master of darkness, ruler of night. He was born first, but still his younger twin brother, Angel of Light, gained all the love of God. Light became the symbol of everything that's good, right and beautiful, while darkness has been gradually becoming hated and associated with evil and pain.
When the Earth and human race were created Dark Angel became master of one more thing: Fear. Darkness always comes along with fear, feeling of hopelessness and helplessness.
It is all unfair, but can't be changed. Dark Angel fell into God's disgrace just because he was what he was created to be. It couldn't be the other way ariound. The Fate, you may say.
But Dark Angel has calmly accepted his destiny. What else could he do? Opposing God's will wouldn't change a thing.
Dark Angel is very strick and surprisingly righteous. He is very serious in whatever he does. He is the mature one compered to his twin brother. He never gets angry, never shows his real feelings. He hates God and his fate but he cannot afford to hate his brother. He never smiles and never laughs.
Waaah, that was a looot of writing but I think I said everything I wanted to about my Dark Angel. It isn't original or anything, I know. But whateeeevaaaa! xP

This made my eyes water. So beautiful. The detail in the muscles. The shape of the body. The wings. The shading and tints. The way he's looking down, arms out in this magnificent pose. Just beautiful. This is what I call art. A magnificent piece of work. I love it!

I like your picture. It is well done. I don't agree with the story though. It doesn't make sense to me for any god to hate a creature for just being what it was created to be. There should be more to it. It would be like God hating the moon because it came up at night. The world seeks balance. If you have light then you must have darkness. God would know that and not hate the darkness he created.
It would make more sense to say that the Dark Angel did something to earn Gods hate or that something came between them. Maybe he became jealous of the adoration his brother received from humanity. Maybe he was a little to happy with his dominion over fear. Maybe he had too much fun with nightmares.

Hmmm it's interesting what you said. I see your point
But please, let me explain a bit wider what I had in mind.
I never said that God hated Dark Angel. What I ment was, that God became to cherish light more, identified himself with it. And because God was always seen as a symbol of good, light has also become one. While darkness as the oposite of light has become the symbol of evil. It's not that God made Dark Angel the evil one, but He turned His back at him as ' God can't have anything in common with the Lord of Evil. So at the begining Dakr Angel actually didn't do anything to deserve what he got.
And of course he is jelous. Who wouldn't be? (I can't believe I didn't write that...
I hope everything makes a bit more sense to you now. That's how I see it ^^ I understand there might be looots of contradictions or vagueness. It's a story I made up while drawing (I like when the characters I draw have their background stories) and it was never to be written down... Otherwise I'd think it over more carefully

Thanks for explaining. It makes more sense now. It could be like a story about two sons fighting for their father's affection like Cain and Able in the Bible or Boromir and Faramir from The Lord of the Rings. I like family stories.
