Description
Prophet still if bird or devilA costume that I honestly threw together so that I would have something to wear at Anthrocon 2012. I may work on the costume more at some point, and develop the character a bit, since it was pretty fun to play.
Inspired loosely by a Raven Mocker from Cherokee mythology (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raven_Mo… )

This is really nice but you know that a Raven Mocker (from Cherokee legend) is not actually a Raven right? I am a professional Cherokee/Indian Historian and artist. A Raven Mocker actually appeared as an old Man or Woman and only made a SOUND like a Raven. Natives are not real fond of people taking from our Culture so I would be cautious about doing characters from Native cultures-many are considered scared and held very close.

You know, I'm not into the whole fur suit thing. But this is really good. I always loved birds and it's good to see someone else take on that route instead of the usual neon coloured anthro wolves you see. Please keep up the amazing work.

You know what I love aboutis mask that distinguishes it from all the others? the fact that you went all the way with it. the feathers cover the entire head for all the viewer can tell, and you made wing-tips and a billowy costume for it so that it looks tribal and symbolic.
