A ton of professional artists and famous artists everyone knows about didn't go to college. To put it simply for you: you're not supposed to go to college to be a good artist--it's good to go to gain connections and [for some] to be a better artist, but you don't have to go.
In fact, a lot of other kinds of famous people who made a difference in history didn't go to college or were college drop-outs. Check out this [link] to see just a fraction of them.

Your professor hasn't taught you the skills you need to make it as a professional. As 'real good' as you consider yourself, no one will want to work with you because you are coming off as an idiot. Think before you speak. Especially on the internet, where everything you say lives forever.
This coming from several working career artists including myself- TONE DOWN THE EGO. At this stage in your life you are not all that and people will not want to work with you, give you jobs or network with you if you demean everyone's stuff. Be nice to people on the way up, cuz you'll see them all again on the way down.
