Oh I've been meaning to ask you. How are you coloring your lineart? Are you using the fill tool? Because if you are you know you can make a layer underneath the lineart art and color it, right? I don't use GIMP but you should be able to do that in nearly every program. It will make your art look nicer and you won't have all of those white pixels around the lines. C:
Anyway I really like how you drew the bananas. I like the detail you put into them and baw. Poor Optimus looks worried. X3

Well I draw the picture, scan it then upload onto GIMP and them fill it....I have no idea how to do lineart

This tutorial should help you then. I tried it out myself and it worked for me. You should be able to color over the lineart with this instead of using the fill tool. C: If you have any questions I'd be glad to help you.

Well there is one question....
gonna have to explain this but say I drew a picture of a guy and there's the white back round. I get rid of the white backround so the guy remains with a transparent backround and I wasnt to save it. Which file do I save it as so I don't get the white backround?

You could just hide the white background layer or delete it. C:

Ohhh. Well you can probably use the selection/magic wand tool/whatever it's called in GIMP to erase the white until it's transparent if that's what you want. Or you can do a new layer and do the background.

Well I managed to get a picture of Optimus with no backround (it's transparent) but every time I save it a backround shows up. Do I have to save it as a certain file...like GIF? Or JGP?

What kind of background is showing up? Just a plain white one? You could try to save it as one of those but make sure it's just a copy though so it doesn't over write your other file.
