Personality: The perfect mare for anyone really. She's not vicious in anyway, more of a calmer mare but with enough oats in her to keep you focused and busy in the saddle. Not a lazy bone in her body. She's always eager to move be it showing off her gaits in the arena or "horsing around" with her herd mates in the pasture. Give her a green apple and she will be your friend for life. Give her a sugar cube and she will lift up her lip in a kind of sneer and turn away, snapping her tail in displeasure. She finds the cubes to be artificial and too fattening where as green apples are a heavenly gift.

The muted rattle from the horse trailer hitched to the truck could barely be heard over the music blaring from the stereo as Marly leaned back in the SUV's seats, singing along to the current song playing over the speakers. She was pretty stoked about going to pick up her calva masked mare whom she had over at at large stable where she had been training with great results. Now of course she didn't just drop off the filly with a "Thanks for taking over the hard work! I'll be back in 2 years to pick her up!" Heck no. She made sure she went there as often as she could. At least every weekend to see how she was doing. The blare of the setting sun hit her eyes making her squint and raise a hand with a grumble of complaint. She glanced over at the clock in the dash of the SUV and noticed the hour. It was already after 5 pm and she still had a ways to go.

By the time she pulled into the large gravel turn-off; the sun had long set and a faint mist was hovering over the rich grass, some of the horses, that were still loose in the pastures, coats being slightly damp from the moisture in the air. The moon sat in the air with thick clouds overshadowing it, causing soft muted moonbeams to lighten everything dimly in it's wake.

Marly had finally pulled up in front of the large stable, hopping out of the vehicle and giving a faint shiver as the evening chill brushed across her summer clothed self. She turned her head when she heard a screen door open with the sound of a dog barking to see the trainer she had work with her horse trotting down the wooden steps of her porch on the small house just 30 feet away from the large stable and indoor riding arena. Her border collie  trotting at her boot heels.

"Hey Jesse, good to see you." Marly called out as she made her way over to meet the woman half way.

"Good to see you've arrived safe. I was beginning to wonder if you were alright when it started to get late."

Marly grimaced at that. "My fault, I got a late start and got caught in rush-hour traffic. Not many people who have patience for horse trailer pulling vehicles when they're in a hurry to get home."

"No worries there. Ready to take your lass home?"

"Oh man am I ever. I can't thank you enough for all your hard work. You've done a beautiful job with her. It'll be interested to see her once again with Dawn and Sabby. I always love to watch as I introduce a new horse or in this case, an old friend and see how they react."

The brunette woman gave a smile and nodded before waving her hand as she began to walk towards one of the paddocks where a few horses were grazing.

"Well lets get your girl so you two can get home and cozy once again. I'm gonna miss the girl. She's been fun to work with."

As they came up to a white paddock fence, Marly could see a familiar form grazing towards the end of the far paddock. She gave a shrill whistle and the horse tossed it's head up at the sound before it gave an answering whinny, her sides shaking from the pure force from it before the mare began trotting towards the two women, her neck arched and chin slightly tucked in as she pranced in their direction. As the mare moved further away from the trees; the moonlight finally struck her form giving her a strange glow as one side of her shined bright while the other was deeply shadowed her white tobiano patches to a dark grey and the bay markings nearly black.
Soon as she reached them she slowed to a calm walk, relaxing her neck and bobbing her head as she looked toward her owner, her rich black bangs falling into her eyes, piercing blue gaze bright even in the dimness of the night.

Marly bounced on the balls of her feet as she smiled excitedly over to Domi.

"Baby, I can't wait to take you home!"
