Description
Tycho Russ was a former Storm Commando in the early years of the Galactic Empire's reign. At first he saw it as his destiny to destroy seperatist remnant and terrorist groups, but he got disillusioned when he realized many of their targets weren't as bad as High Command made it seem. Eventually he got talking with general Crix Madine after he got assigned several times to his security detail. He found that the general who founded the Storm Commandos shared the same feelings and, eventually, Madine asked for Tycho's help to defect Imperial service and join the Rebel Alliance.

After he joined the Alliance to Restore the Republic and vetted thoroughly, he joined the Rebel Alliance Intelligence Service as an operative and field asset. Working several times under Crix Madine, he used his training and still active code cilinders to succesfully infiltrate Imperial bases and facilities to retrieve other defectors, steal ships and weaponry and assassinate high value targets.

He kept the E-11D blaster carbine he took when he defected and also used a DL-18 blaster pistol which he wore in a shoulder holster.
