“The reincarnated goddess, protecting the plants and animals of earth;
Cure Fysi!”

"So, starting today we're showing off the cures for this month's fan season; that being "Goddess Precure Uprising", which from the title, you can probably guess is based on one of my favourite video games of all time: Kid Icarus: Uprising! Where I took some of the major female characters of the game and turned them into precures, giving my fanseason a theme of reincarnation/rebirth, living up to other's expectations but choosing between following it or breaking them and of course all the Greek myths. XD The logic here is that the goddesses gave up their physical forms after their battle against Hades due to exhaustion, and were then reborn in modern times for when Hades might emerge from his banishment to fully defeat him once and for all; but since these reborn goddesses have had the chance to have regular lives; would they be ready to give them up for their responsibilities as goddess warriors, reject them or find a balance.
Oh! And for some of the cure names, we're doing a Huggto where the cure names are in a different language; and to match the Greek Myths, the cure names are in Greek."

So for now, we have Akane Hanako; aka Cure Fysi (Greek for Nature, although I can't put the accent in so AHHHHH). She is the reincarnation of the physically youngest goddess of Nature Viridi; like her former life, Hanako loves nature and does despise how other people dismiss nature and contribute to pollution by leaving rubbish around so she does what she can at her young age. Upon joining the team of the cures, Hanako was excited to have powers and is nearly tempted with using her god powers to get revenge on humans; but her friends help convince her not to do that. Her name means "Flower child of deep red", referencing her themes of flowers and the colour red, as well as being the youngest member of the team of ten years old. Her Kanji being 茜花子.

Akane Hanako had a slight reputation within her, as being exposed to the horrors of pollution at a young age, Hanako was very intense about protecting the earth; but due to her small age and people dismissing her worries, she felt like she couldn't do much to convince people to protect the earth and so silently did the best she could. This included planting and taking care of flowers, including the school's private garden. This was where Hanako met with Katsumi, who helped her carrying the heavy watering can and this lead to them getting along really well; especially since both girls struggled to make friends with girls their own ages.
So after a few episodes of just Fos and Cháos fighting monsters; Hanako ended up getting caught in the mess when her plants were caught into a MOTW transformation. And after scolding the evil underworld queen Medusa, who smugly dismissed her; angered the young girl into wanting to get revenge. Of course Midori and Fumie were worried about letting such a young girl to join them. However, Pittwo recognised Hanako as the reborn goddess of nature and after jogging Pitty's memory, they were about to gift her the transformation item until Fumie informed the two unknowledgeable girls that Vidiri was a vengeful goddess who hated humanity and used her powers against them. This surprisingly excited Hanako who was fully ready to use her nature powers to protect the earth through any means needed. So during that fight, Hanako's goddess hood was fully awakened and joined the battle, only for the angels and even goddess cures to fear for the new threat they were dealt with; a ten year old on a power trip. Thankfully they manage to calm her down, but would she be tempted to fall to power...

So as you can probably tell, Hanako's character arc is kind of a darker storyline with the cures and angels threatened with the concept of Hanako fully embracing her goddess hood for what feels like is the greater good, that being protecting nature from human pollution. Thankfully things calm down after Katsumi joins the team as like Hanako's older sister figure; but with the villains taking knowledge of her vengeful desires, they start trying to tempt her into accepting it. Of course she starts to learn that following the harmful path of her former life isn't going to help save the earth in the long run; as Hanako is her own person and loved by her friends for who she is. And she learns to accept that she solely doesn't have the power to fully stop pollution, but rather help inspire others to make their own changes.
As for Hanako's hobbies, obviously there's her gardening hobby that she enjoys in her ability to do her part in protecting the earth and making it more green. But as a secondary hobby, she also likes to cycle and go on walks with Katsumi as gives her exercise as well as keeping a green finger; although it sometimes annoys Katsumi who is sometimes dragged into litter clean up adventures with her.
