Description
Entry for CGBoost Challenge : World in a Bottle.
The idea of this artwork is a tiny world (represented by a palace building) in a bottle which colonize bottles by harvesting energy from the tiny sun/star inside of it. Spent sun/stars are red ones inside dirty bottles (like ones to the left side of the main bottle) while pristine ones are blue inside clear bottles (on the right of the main bottle), with the currently harvested sun/star enclosed in rings and stabilized with chains. This somewhat represents space-faring colony that inhabits a solar system, hopping from one system onto the others.
The initial concept did not include other bottles around and mainly only focus on the main bottle, but after gaining some feedback in CGBoost forum, I decided to add more elements and changed the resolution from portrait to square-ish during the last few days to give it more story.
