For example the images he makes of them peels from the surface they came from. He likes to strike fear into those afraid of the dark and play games with their mind, making people question the moving shadows in the corners of their eyes.

[History]
Misa's mother was all he had as a young child and still is. Due to Misa's mother having him at a young age she was disowned from her family along with her son. Even so Misa felt his life was just fine. He never thought he was alone. But when he reached elementary he was too soft spoken and had no father, which caused him to get teased regularly by classmates. Their teasing got to him over time. Misa thought he didn't care and just found himself disliking people more, when inside he was truly empty. Misa tried to fill the tiny gap with many activities and spending time with his mother. Yet in the end the feeling could not be hidden for long. Misa just wanted a companion. He wanted a friend. Someone to entertain him. Taking an interest in shadow puppets is where entertainment came. He found that the darkness in his room at these times were almost comforting...

Little dd he realize this acceptance and desire was activating something inside, unleashing a power that changed his world. One particular night when Misa had become 14 he tried to change the shape of a shadow puppet into something new. He'd done so many forms that it'd became boring. Just the thought alone formed Wicker, a shadow creature Misa created from his wishes and imagination. This shadow looked eerie but Misa grew to it. Seeing it all the time in the shadows when no one else is around gave Misa a form of joy he could never describe. And over time Misa tried playing with these new found abilities by using the students he didn't like as subjects. Watching their paranoia was pleasing. In fact Misa would have tired to scare more then if his mother hadn't discovered Misa at the age of 15 with Wicker one day. Her son was... playing with a shadow? She didn't understand until Misa explained their origins and what he'd been doing up to now. Misa's mother could only try and explain to Misa how to treat people respectively, and that those who truly deserve punishment are doing even worse than his teasing classmates. She couldn't fathom her son's abilities... But she knew Misa wasn't using them completely for the right things. So quickly she tried to find answers online while tending to keeping her son on the right path of thoughts. In the process she found Alexandria's School for the Gifted and grew to feel this school could help her son. And thus begins his higher leaning...
