Description
My father asked me to do this for his colleage's birthday. It was intended as a part of a bigger creative present with the 'parody' concept. My part was to find a painting that I liked and create a 'parody' with my father's colleage in the role of a person in the portrait. So...I made some research and found the one I thought would fit her personality (although, I remember her quite vaguely). The original masterpiece was done by Louise Élisabeth Vigée Le Brun and can be found here [link]
As you can see I changed some parts...for various reasons - the first one is that i simply do not have such skills and talent, the second one is that i didn't want to make a copy, i wanted it look like a drawing based on the original work and the last but not the least - I was hard pressed for time (hence, the flowers look artificial and the face is quite....flat ) However, it looks yummy in print and didn't want to give it away to some other person
As I was working on this one, i kind of figured my major problems with drawing, so I'll try to work one them...yeah, try
