As time flows ever forward, we see a specialization of species into sperate niches. The Trefothys is a filter-feeder, using it's large mouth to take as much water(and nutrients) into it as it can. The ancestral ribbon has started to develop specific regions, creating fin-like structures. It is one of the largest creatures currently living on Pulfira, with a respectable 1m in length.
