Description
There was a whole mythology my Odyssey of the Mind team invented about the Sea Goddess, who was delighted by a pair of fisherman's children on the seashore, but accidentally drowns them in the waves. She hides in the depths and is tormented by her Conscience, while the world on land is parched by drought. Finally she cries, it rains, everything is good again. Kinda.
Also it was an opera.
Not bad for a bunch of 8th Grade students.

I painted this about all that.
I designed the "time wheel" to depict the passage of time, and the mask and cloak that the Conscience wore, so those are featured more than the rest, in this view.

OH - the GLITTER.
I really liked to add glitter gel, for the movement effect. The arc in the sky, the surface of the sea, the cloak, the dress - it's everywhere. Good thing it wasn't loos glitter, the gel keeps it contained.
