Original size: 1200 x 1800 pixels AVAILABLE FOR PRINT.My entry for the June 2011 Imagine FX magazine monthly art challenge. The theme for this month was "Insanity." My concept here is a guy, not Peter Parker, who finds a Spider Man costume without a Radioactive Spider. He figures if he eats Black Widow spiders he'll eventually develop super powers. Crazy right?

As the thought of swallowing a black widow spiders to gain a super power is totally senseless. I find this illustration equally macabre and funny. I was most amused by this piece. Its brilliantly executed.

The guy must have missed a major plot device from the comics. He's a hobo, so he probably found an issue with some pages missing.
