Description
In case you can't read that odd pile of words above her back, this is Calypso. She can probably shift between this and an anthro-y form which is still in the works. You may recognize her from my little animated icon dealie. Really, this is just a reference sheet that I slapped some shading on. I was kind of experimenting with a new style and I'm happy with the kind of look it gives. Dunno if I'll be using it for everything, though.

More about Calypso: She's always doing something music-related -- listening, playing, dancing, singing, you name it. She'll listen to any type of music, too. She doesn't stick to any one genre. Seeing as she hardly ever speaks, she's often mistaken for being stupid. She's surprisingly intelligent, however, and when she does have something to say it's usually important. Even then, her words tend to take the form of song lyrics or sometimes a title and artist of a song that describes the point she wants to make. She owns a little music shop and lives in an apartment on the floor above it. She's not rich, but she has enough to get buy and still spend money on kerosene for her fire poi. (She raves and spins quite a lot, mixing in all other kinds of dance, too.) It's a simple life, but a happy one.

On a more random note: She's singing "Stupify" by Disturbed, I would imagine. I'd be happy to role play her if you send me a note. And snarl-y muzzles and bared-fangs are really fun to draw. You'll probably be seeing more of that kinda stuff in the future.
